HEW Fitness is a Functional Fitness gym committed to helping individuals achieve their wellness goals through expert guidance and tailored programs. With a strong emphasis on community, they provide a supportive environment in which clients of all fitness levels thrive.

For several months in 2024, I worked as HEW Fitness's social media manager, with the primary objective being developing and executing a content strategy that highlighted the brand's strong sense of community. My focus was to create engaging, authentic content that showcased the supportive environment HEW Fitness fosters.

I collaborated with their team to craft a consistent social media presence, building a stronger connection with current members and attracting new clients through thoughtful, community-driven content.

Project Background

Prior to my joining the HEW Fitness team, their social media lacked a clear structure, making it difficult to engage their audience and showcase their thriving community. They wanted a social media strategy that would drive member engagement, attract new clients and highlight the gym's unique culture.

I delivered by creating a content strategy and schedule. I also created a cohesive presence by curating dynamic reels and on brand posts.

Final Results

  • Follower Growth: Increased followers by 34%, growing the account from 1,080 to 1,448.

  • Reach & Engagement: Achieved over 140,000 accounts reached and 9,000+ accounts engaged.

  • New Client Conversions: Contributed to a steady flow of new client inquiries and sign-ups through engaging content.

  • Content Performance: Produced high performing reels with an average reach of 4,000+ views per video.
